How The IDF Creates Arab Terrorists

A fellow in the IDF’s prestigious Duvdevan unit saw the show with his own eyes and told a friend of mine:

They would go arrest someone on mere suspicion, or “Administrative Detention” (the same is done to Jews, by the way). This by arresting him in the dead of night, waking his whole family, cuffing and insulting him in front of them, bumping into him a few times in the course of things, for tactical necessity (or not), and once again, all this in front of his family (let’s not forget the Arab cultural issue of “losing face”). And then, by the purest of pure chance, the man’s 15-year-old son would begin a long career of armed resistance to Israel, solely because Ishmaelite Arabs are born antisemites, and are taught incitement in school…

And this happens all the time.

Ah, why are you listening to him? He’s probably a crazy leftist.

Huh.

‘Every Government Would Be a Totalitarian System If They Could Get Away with It’

Simply Because it Can

By Moshe Feiglin

How is it that one million citizens of Israel have a police file?

Is every eighth citizen here a criminal?

The answer is simple.

Every state and governing authority will take liberties for itself at the expense of its citizens if they will allow it. And in Israel, the citizens allow it.

The police have filed every eighth citizen in Israel as a criminal.

Simply because it can.

In the absence of a culture of liberty, enslavement filters slowly down. It is almost always accompanied by the claim that liberty must be taken from you for your own good, for your security. It will convince you with claims that nothing bad could ever happen to you. After all, you are not a criminal. So why should you be listed as such with the police?

Criminal registration, biometric registration, criminalization of smokers, criminalization of customers of prostitution, administrative detention – there are a plethora of ways. But the goal is plain and simple:

More liberty for the state,
Less liberty for the individual.

More state,
Less individual.

More enslavement,
Less identity.

Moshe Feiglin on Duma – Always Relevant

Framed in Duma: By Moshe Feiglin

I opposed administrative detention – of both Jews and Arabs – when I was in the Knesset. I also opposed forced feeding. I believe that the continued occupation of Judea and Samaria causes Israel to consistently violate human rights, which in turn brings about the deterioration of the standard of liberty in the entire country. Israel must declare sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, thus ending the occupation in the same manner it did in the Golan Heights. All options must be opened for the Arab residents of Judea and Samaria, while safeguarding their human rights.

I have already written that it really does not interest me if those who threw the firebombs into the (Arab) home in Duma were Jews or Arabs. Whoever did it must be punished. But as of this point, it is not at all clear that the Jewish youths in administrative detention were connected whatsoever to the case.

Even if they admit to the crime and re-enact it 100 times.

Even if they will be convicted and all the rabbis will condemn them roundly, as is standard procedure – I will not believe they are guilty.

Because when teens are held for many long months in the Shabak cellars, when their right to meet with a lawyer is taken from them – they are liable to say anything. The pressure that the security apparatus felt from the Left’s “Why haven’t you arrested anyone yet?” sobbing festival has driven them to perpetrate a long string of indecent acts, under the auspices of (Arab) Supreme Court Justice Salim Jubran. Yesterday he authorized the continued negation of the rights of the detainees.

I once heard an evaluation from the President of the Attorney’s Association, who said that approximately 15% of those convicted of murder in Israel are not actually guilty of the crime. So how can we relate seriously to this ridiculous ‘investigation’  – in which all the human rights of the detainees – all of them juveniles – are seriously abused ? Soon their half year of administrative detention will be up, and then, of course, an extension will be requested. After all, Defense Minister Ya’alon will not want to lose face and admit that there is no evidence against these boys.

Our enemies already know that all they have to do is to vandalize their own property and write ‘Price Tag’ in order to implicate Jews in the crime. They cut down their own trees and write ‘Price Tag’. They set fire to carpets in their mosques and write ‘Price Tag’ on the walls. That is what they did in Tuba Zangaria. Even in Tel Aviv, a terror cell planning precisely the same act in the Hassan Bek Mosque was caught before they could put their plans into action.

So why shouldn’t they do the same thing in Duma? The police and Shabak know that better than I do. But they work for the media and the ‘Peace Industry’ nobility. They do not work for the State of Israel. And they certainly do not work for the truth.

It’s already been two months that not a day goes by without stabbings, car rammings or shootings. For some reason, we do not see a hint of the same holy ardor to find solutions at any price – even at the price of all the rules of liberty and democracy. Not a hint of that from the peace nobility. For some reason, you do not hear anything in the media about expelling the families of the Arabs terrorists who stab Jews – even when time and again it turns out that today’s terrorist is the brother of yesterday’s terrorist. After all, it’s not democratic, it is not in keeping with human rights, it will upset the delicate balance of relations between Jews and Arabs, it is absolutely unthinkable…

So on Monday, a one year old baby was run over by a terrorist and lost his leg. He will not be crawling or playing soccer. But never fear: Netanyahu ordered the Jerusalem municipality to erect more cement blocks by bus stops to prevent Arabs from ramming their cars into unsuspecting people. And the Defense Minister is busy chasing after the wind on the hilltops of Judea and Samaria.

In the past, there were a number of cases of arson in Duma – internal strife. Even a novice graphologist would testify to the fact that the graffiti left on the walls there was a drawing, not actual writing. And furthermore, do you think that a Jewish boy who would decide to throw a firebomb into an Arab home would choose a home in the center of the Arab village and not on its outskirts?

Sorry, friends. With this hallucinatory investigation and trampling of every possible human right, you have completely lost me. At this point, all the detainees should be released, the investigative team should be replaced and the Shabak and police should stop drawing the target around the arrows outlined by the media.

The State Has Been Weighed and Found Lacking

Why is Meir Ettinger Still in Jail?

ערב שבת קודש פר׳ שמיני/פרה תשע״ו

Tablet: Let Meir Ettinger Attend His Son’s Bris
Meir Kahane’s grandson has been held under administrative arrest for more than seven months

Liel Leibovitz, March 30, 2016

The 25-year-old, who is the grandson of the slain rabbi Meir Kahane, was arrested by Israeli authorities more than seven months ago. He is allegedly suspected of playing a part in underground efforts to overthrow the government and establish halakhic rule in its stead. Despite the weight of the accusation, however, the state has, to date, produced no evidence to support its case, said Yuval Zemer, Ettinger’s attorney. Instead, it placed Ettinger under administrative arrest. A legacy of the British Mandate’s martial laws, this judicial tool, signed by Israel into law in 1979, allows the government to detain individuals for a period of six months, with three-month extensions thereafter for as long as is necessary, without presenting a suspect or his legal representatives with any concrete evidence of wrongdoing. Ettinger, then, remains under arrest, permitted only minimal contact with his lawyer and his family, and now, unless the government has a change of heart, denied partaking in his son’s bris as well. (cont.)

Esser Agaroth (2¢):

Of course, there’s nothing to judge. He is in administrative detention for writing articles which the State does not like and feels threatened by.

Furthermore, how can any Jew who identifies as “Torah-observant,” himself not also agree with the eventual implementation of Torah Law across Eretz Yisra’el (Land of Israel)? Does he not also pray three times per day for theGe’ulah (Redemption), and coming of the Mashi’ah?

Doesn’t “Religious Zionism assert that we are supposed to be a part of this process? And although prayer and Torah study are crucial, doesn’t Religious Zionism encourage us to do more than this, as participants in the process? Are we to encourage aliyah (immigration of Jews to Israel), observance of Shabboth, kashruth, tefillin, and family purity, and that is it, even though this is only a portion of the Torah?

Aren’t all Religious Zionists at supposed to be talking about the eventually spread of Torah throughout the Land, and its eventual place as the ultimate authority on all matters? Or have I gotten Religious Zionism all wrong, and most of those identifying as Religious Zionists are not really Religious Zionists at all, and are actually Mamlakhtim, those who believe that there is no conflict between State law and Torah Law?

In any event, on one side of this conflict, we have a Torah-observant Jew accused of encouraging the overthrow of the State’s government, and on the other side, the anti-Torah State. Given the evidence, or in this case, the lack of evidence, who are we supposed to believe?

I believe that the answer can be found in the Torah itself, where the answer to every other question can also be found.

יהושוע בן פרחיה וניתאי הארבלי קיבלו מהם. יהושוע בן פרחיה אומר, עשה לך רב, וקנה לך חבר; והוי דן את כל האדם לכף זכות.(משנה אבות א,ו)

Yehoshu’a ben Perahiyah and Nittai the Arbelli received it [the Torah] from them. Yehoshu’a ben Perahiyah says make for yourself a rav, acquire for yourself a friend; and judge each Jew favorably. (Mishah Avoth 1:6)

As politically-incorrect as it may be, the Ramba”m, and others teach that the word אדם/adamindicates “Jew” in this mishnah. R’ Ovadiah meBartenura goes a step further, and says this refers to a “kosher Jew,” those who believe in the Torah, and observe it.

The Ramba”m also states a time when we should do the opposite, and this is when dealing with a known rasha (evil person). In this situation, we should assume that he have evil intentions, even if his actions appear to be beneficial on the surface.

Granted, we do not determine halakhah (Torah Law), based on a single source alone. Nevertheless, I ask you, to whom are we to give kaf zekhuth (benefit of the doubt)? To the Torah observant Jew? Or to the State, which happens to have some symbolic, Jewish sprinkles on top, while implementing its anti-Torah agenda at every step of the way?

The main objective of the State’s imprisonment of Meir Ettinger, under an old law from the British Mandate used to imprison Jewish freedom fighters, is to break him, and to demonstrate to the masses that the State’s laws are greater than Torah Law.

Of course, the State will never succeed in this endeavor.

Meir Ettinger On His Torturers

BY ON

The following article was Meir Ettinger’s most recent blog post. It was written just before he was arrested and it was posted on August 4th on Hakol Hayehudi in Hebrew, once he was already in jail. Some of Meir’s blog posts have been cited in the media as part of the evidence against him. Here we present one of Meir’s posts and allow the readers to judge for themselves whether it is grounds for administrative detention.

Did Moti Yogev burn the house in Duma?

This past week we’ve witnessed an all out attack by the media on Jewish terror. Representatives of the state of all stripes and sizes have condemned these recent attacks. Yet beyond condemning the attacks, they have really been assaulting Jewish values as a whole while hiding behind the guise of condemning violence or murder.

What they really mean can be heard in the words of those who were less successful in hiding their true motives. For example we can look at Yair Lapid, whose words we will quote below since they reveal what the self-proclaimed “knights of justice and equality” are really fighting.

Yair Lapid said (translated from the original Hebrew), “We’re at war. He who stabs young people at a Pride March, the terrorists who burned a baby in Kfar Duma- they are the enemy. Those who burned the Church next to the Kinneret- they are the enemy. A person who throw stones at security forces- he is the enemy, because stones kill. Members of Lehava- they are traitors who assist the enemy at times of war. He who threatens to attack the Supreme Court with a D-9 bulldozer- is a traitor helping the enemy at a time of war.”

What is the connection between Moti Yogev and the home in Duma? What is the connection between Lehava that opposes assimilation and the arson of a church? The answer is simple, Lapid is inciting a culture war. The media outrage and assault is not really about compassion for innocent victims or opposition to violence it’s about sticking it to those with Jewish pride.

Culture War

Yair Lapid, speaks for all of them. He knows how to explain himself clearly and he understands that the media assault is not about burning a house, or about innocent victims. It’s not about violence or murder. It’s not even about how we conduct our wars or about the boundaries of the law. Lapid’s war is a culture war.

But still, how can we be so sure that it’s not human life and murder that matter so much to those in the media? The answer is in the way they so casually relate to the lives of Jews. They silence murder committed by terrorists and they create rules of engagement with stone and firebomb throwers that put Jewish lives in danger. The media and the left blatantly support Arab terror against Jews and by extension, at the very least, are indifferent to Jewish life.

So if human life is of little concern to them, why the media assault? Once again one of their own, President Reuven Rivlin, said it best in his own words. “Sadly, until now we have dealt with Jewish terror lightly. Perhaps we did not internalize that against us stands a dangerous, determined, ideological group that has set for itself the goal ofdestroying the delicate bridges we have so carefully constructed. I believe that the more we recognize that we are standing against a real danger to the State of Israel, we will be more determined to fight them and uproot them entirely. “

So what are those delicate bridges so carefully constructed? The answer can be found in the concept that has been absent from Rivlin’s lips the past year. Rivlin has worked tirelessly to distort and render meaningless the entire concept of ‘Judaism.’ In Rivlin’s (and many others) opinion, a Jewish State can be both “binational” and “Jewish” at the same time. The national identity of the Jewish people is not related to its uniqueness in contrast to the nations of the world, and Jewish identity is certainly not related to fulfilling the Mitzvot. Everyone must respect one another’s view, even if it violates one’s own beliefs.

Rubi Rivlin has worked to blur the lines between a “Jewish State” and the policies those very words imply. He has tried to claim that distorted, liberal, modern culture encompasses Jewish heritage. He stands guard over all the imaginary and false bridges he has built between Judaism and leftist, liberal democracy.

The Shin Bet is not a security agency!

The Shin Bet has for many years been running to the media claiming that it is terrorism when Jews uproot a tree or commit other petty crimes in response to the Arab intifada, which, in contrast, the Shin bet has tried to silence.

The Shin Bet shouts in our ears, “Jewish terror, Jewish terror, Jewish terror,” while at the same time attempting to cover up and ‘contain’ the daily incidents of stone throwing and molotov cocktails committed by Arabs. The Shin bet has transformed acts of protest committed by teenagers who could no longer bear the daily attacks against them, into terrorism. In committing these actions the Shin Bet has led many Jews to the realization that the agency responsible for their security and safety, has the blood of dozens of Jews on its hands. Rather than protecting Jews’ safety, the Shin Bet has acted as a political tool.

This is the same Shin Bet that calls Arab terror, “popular protest.” They consider firebombs thrown at vehicles, “popular protest.” This is the same Shin Bet that thinks so little of Jewish life that they have closed checkpoints, and reopened security roads to Arab traffic. And why? All in order to guard the “holy, delicate bridges.”

The head of the Shin Bet (during the release of prisoners in the Shalit deal) took personal responsibility for the murder of Malachi Rosenfeld, Dani Gonen, and all the other Jews who would yet be murdered by the terrorists who were released. These are not the hands of an organization that cares about the safety of Jews, rather those of a group attempting to shape public opinion behind the scenes. It is for that reason that they redefine protest as terror and terror as protest. It is for that reason that they draw such silly cartoons and create imaginary hierarchies of ‘secret, underground,’ Jewish terror organizations. All for one reason- to guard the identity of the State of Israel as as that of leftism and assimilation.

So what can we do against this media assault? For one, we simply must not be alarmed. Against the delicate bridges of liberal culture being thrust upon us, we must rekindle the bonds that connect us to a love of G-d and our Jewish heritage.

“They” have delicate bridges, bridges of lies. It is said that the Hebrew word for ‘lies’ has no feet and thus that lies have no foundation. Therefore they are scared and stressed, but we will not fear their media assault. “I am a wall” says King Solomon- our connection is strong and it gives us the strength to stand up against all the imaginary walls and smokescreens to say without fear what is truly a Jewish State.
