re: R’ Sternbuch Blatantly Contradicts Himself Regarding Har Habayis

Letter from a friend (partly translated) in response to yesterday’s piece against R’ Sternbuch:

I’m deeply worried about you. This is not OK. Your “facts” or Torah perspective should be able to stand on its own without criticizing Torah Giants.

I hope you take what I am saying to heart.

If you don’t want to stop this for yourself and your family — do it for me.

It would be very painful for me to see you suffer.

A man or Torah Scholar doesn’t rise by tearing others down.

End.

Good to know I have friends!

R’ Sternbuch Blatantly Contradicts Himself Regarding Har Habayis

In Teshuvos Vehanhagos vol. 3, 39 Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch says the Mikdash is probably on the south side, and not by the Dome of the Rock.

But we know Rabbi Sternbuch (and Rabbi Elyashiv, etc.) were willing to contaminate kohanim based on the clear understanding that the Mikdash definitely isn’t on the south side!

Unless the rabbi changed his mind since then (as he did partially and secretly with Techeiles)?

Or is it about the constant Charedi war against the Beis Hamikdash, and the truth be hanged?
