Instead of a boring book review, I shall make one (slightly unfair) mocking comment:
This central-planning ילד-שמנת fool hoped for endless, “high-minded” quasi-scientific Labor-socialist experiments on live Jewish human beings (wages, hours, etc., etc.).*
And he sure got his wish…
(The author himself followed an unclear mix of Austrian economics and some socialism.)
Hertzl keeps repeating en tutto that such-and-such an experiment will redound to the whole world’s welfare, it seems he might even believe it, himself!
*When commenting on books written in German, one must, oneself, use endless hyphenation!
