If We’re David, Where’s Achish?

There is a common theme among Jewish revolutionaries today to call the good guys “David”, and the current regime’s persecution “Shaul”.

Supposedly, there will one day be a peaceful change of rulers, and supposedly the current regime has a certain legitimacy, too. And their persecution of us is not of their own free will. And so on.

What I want to know is, where’s our Achish (king of Gat)? Where can our chevrah seek refuge?
