We know Techeiles shells and dying centers are exactly in the places where Scripture and Chazal say it was produced. But… but, say the opponents, Techeiles is “Nignaz“, don’t you know?!
The Nignaz, er, “maximalists” (to be unduly respectful) will soon, God willing, have the same problem with the Aron Habris (presumably they will also dislike the measurements, the decorations not pretty enough, the broken luchos may not match the derush of the Beis Halevi, Moshe’s Sefer Torah with the Rogatchover, and who knows what else).
Worse, the Aron, too, is “Nignaz“. It also says “in its place” (Yoma 532b, Radak on Divrei Ha’Yamim II 35:3). Nignaz is Nignaz!
Presumably, when the Aron is unearthed, we will hear “Da’as Torah” proclaiming it absolutely impossible for this to be the Aron for various reasons. Even if it’s not in Rome, it’s still “Nignaz” for ever and ever, Hello!
